Overview
Field Service Engineer – Republic of Ireland (Field based).
Permanent, full-time role based in ROI.
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 9:00–17:00 with a 30 minute lunch break.
Responsibilities
Carry out service itineraries in accordance with Company and Service procedures, optimizing time use and minimizing costs.
Ensure familiarity with products, working on customer sites in a professional and safe manner in line with Company and Local Health and Safety requirements.
Complete and submit all relevant documentation accurately and within agreed timescales.
On arrival, inform staff of the reason for the visit and request permission to carry out required work; ensure work area is clean and tidy and dispose of parts and chemicals per site instructions; ensure required documentation is completed and copies left with the authorising employee.
Provide feedback and recommendations to Arjo following customer visits and contribute ideas to support ongoing improvement in Arjo, products and services.
Maintain exemplary personal appearance, hygiene and health standards.
Maintain tools, spares and equipment in a safe condition and highlight any safety concerns to the Line Manager immediately.
Liaise with Arjo Service Admin and Customer contacts to advise appointment times and duration to keep customers informed.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Ideally previous experience in a similar role with demonstrable mechanical/electrical engineering skills.
City and Guild/NFQ Level 6 or higher or equivalent in mechanical/electrical engineering.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and competent computer skills.
Customer-focused with flexibility and the ability to motivate others; strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work at heights; experience using power tools and following installation manuals.
Willingness to travel and undertake overnight stays within ROI; full driving licence required.
A Garda Vetting check will be carried out (at the cost of Arjo).

Company van, tools, uniform, iPad and smartphone provided; IT equipment such as iPad and iPhone supplied.
Comprehensive product training at the Technical Training Centre (UK).
Out-of-hours rota participation may be required.
Please note applicants must live within a reasonable distance to the area covered.
Role may involve driving a company van; full driving licence required.
