Senior Audit Manager | Capital Markets clients | Dublin City
The client and the Audit Team–
Our client is an established Top 10 Firm based in Dublin City.
Their FS audit team has experienced rapid growth over the past number of years with further expansion ongoing
Audit reform legislation has required the market to look for increased diversity and choice of firms; and our client's financial services practice has been a key beneficiary of this.
The role – Senior Audit Manager –
Why is it available?
Because of this change in legislation new opportunities have become available.
Specifically, they require an experienced Audit Manager to join their Capital Markets team.
You will be required to service audit clients in the Capital Markets space.
Develop and manage a portfolio of FS clients, assist partners and directors in business development activities and control the financial aspects of a client portfolio; including budgeting, negotiating, billing and recovery.
How is success measured?

Success in a manager's role is based on taking ownership and developing relationships with clients.
Cross team communication/ collaboration is highly valued.
What are the long-term progression opportunities?
Promotion usually takes place every 2 years or sooner depending on a particular business case.
There is every opportunity for the right person to progress to Director and above if that is the ambition.

The organisation promotes work/life balance with various wellness initiatives in place.
Like in any audit role in practice, you will be busier than normal from Jan – April.
Remuneration –
Remuneration will be competitive along with bonus and other benefits.
What about the interview process?

There is a two-stage interview process.

stage with the direct hiring partner, the 2
nd
with a Director or Partner from another team.
Sign-off is there and the team is actively recruiting.
All being right for both sides, you can expect an offer within a few days of the meeting.
About you –
To be able to do the job you will be/ have –
A qualified Accountant – ACA, ACCA, CPA OR CA SA
Have previous experience in a formal management role
Have thorough knowledge of the capital markets/ structured finance space
