Main purpose of the role:
Responsible for the preparation of high-quality hot and cold deli products and ensuring customer satisfaction is the top priority.
The ideal candidate will have/be:
HACCP training is desirable but not necessary
Previous customer service experience is an advantage
The ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and to multi-task under pressure
A passion for food and the ability to inspire shoppers
Main duties:
Actively embody Centra brand values: Proud, Energetic, Imaginative, and Community-Based
Prepare customer orders across all fresh food areas, such as making sandwiches and rolls, hot food, and slicing meats using store portion control measures
Cook, prepare, and display foods sold throughout the day
Ensure counter displays across all fresh food departments meet the highest standards at all times
Share knowledge, recipes, and personal recommendations with customers to demonstrate passion for quality food
Handle customer queries efficiently, professionally, and in line with store policy
About the locality:
We are looking for a full-time team member to join our deli team.
Shifts can start at 6am or 8am and finish at 3pm or 5pm.
