The post holder will be responsible for working within multi-disciplined engineering teams to deliver innovative design solutions for new concepts and customization of existing products for our global customers.
Responsibilities include:
Producing 3D models of parts and assemblies
Creating 2D detail drawings of parts and assemblies
Designing electrical harness routing and equipment layouts
Producing 2D and 3D PDFs of electrical layouts
Assembly and BOM configuration
Releasing and managing engineering drawings following company procedures
Supporting prototype hardware build through NPI development
Contributing to design solutions collaboratively within project teams
Delivering work packages as per project plans
Adhering to company procedures outlined in the Design Office Handbook

Minimum requirements:
3rd level qualification in relevant engineering or related discipline
Strong 3D CAD modelling skills
Experience in a design or engineering role
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Proficiency with IT tools including MS Office
Desirable skills include experience with sheetmetal, plastic vacuum forming, electrical equipment layout, Catia V5/V6, and PLM software like Enovia or SmarTeam.
