Jervis Shopping Centre in Dublin 1 requires a full-time, fully qualified Electrician to join our in-house maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preventative and reactive maintenance tasks required in our busy Shopping Centre & Car Park. The candidate will be able to work on their own initiative and will report to the Maintenance Manager of the Centre. What’s in it for you? Job Specification: To carry out PPM Tasks and routines in a timely and efficient manner To carry out small to medium size electrical repairs and installations To carry out routine checks on all systems including but not limited to Electrical systems, air conditioning system, HVAC, BMS, Sprinkler and fire alarm systems Ability to plan and carry out works to achieve an efficient & speedy resolution to reactive maintenance issues as they arise Assist with documenting maintenance tasks carried out on site Assist with the supervision of contractors on site to make sure works are carried out safely and in line with relevant standards As part of the in-house maintenance team, the candidate will be required at times to assist in non-electrical duties. Candidates will need to be flexible with their working hours as not all tasks can be carried out during centre trading hours. Contacting suppliers to source and order materials is required Work with the centre’s CMMS system Required Qualifications: Qualified Electrician with minimum 3 years’ experience after apprenticeship. Experience working with a wide range of electrical systems Experience working with HVAC, BMS, Fire Alarm, Back-up Generators and Sprinkler systems preferred Strong communication skills Good customer service skills Flexible to meet the needs of a busy Shopping Centre Experience with Email, Word and Excel preferred. Safe Pass, Manual Handling and MEWP licences essential
