Foreman

Location: Celbridge Contract: Project-based, full-time Purpose Responsible for managing, supervising, and coordinating site resources (including subcontractors) to ensure works are delivered safely, to specification, on program, and within budget. Key Responsibilities Safety & Environment • Implement Coffey’s Safety Statement and HSQE Management System. • Prepare and brief RAMS, SPAs, and toolbox talks; ensure inductions and permits are in place. • Complete at least one HSQE inspection per month via PowerApps and close actions promptly. • Manage waste permits and environmental controls to prevent pollution. Quality • Ensure compliance with drawings/specifications; rectify defects promptly and secure client sign-off. • Raise NCRs for defective works to share lessons learned. Programme & Delivery • Plan daily activities, manage plant/equipment and subcontractors, and contribute to look-ahead programs. • Monitor progress against the program and address delays or variations. Commercial & Reporting • Control productivity, minimize overtime and material wastage, and understand cost implications of overruns. • Maintain accurate site records (diaries, labor/plant returns) and report progress to the Site Agent/PM. People & Stakeholder Management • Lead and mentor site operatives; ensure compliance with site rules and documentation. • Liaise with clients, designers, and stakeholders professionally. Requirements Essential • 5+ years’ relevant civil experience on similar projects. • Strong commitment to HSQE, program, and cost control. • Site Safety Supervisor Program (or equivalent). • Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification. • Full clean Irish driving license and right to work in Ireland. • Competent with RAMS, SPAs, and PowerApps inspections. Desirable • SLG/LUGS traffic management awareness and CSCS tickets.
