We are now looking for a Bus Driver for our Creche located in South Dublin. Join our team Minimum Qualification Required CPC Certified (Current) and either D1 or D License. Benefits Extremely competitive salary Company Employee Assistance Programme Discounted private health insurance Bonus loyalty days Career advancement opportunities On-site training and Continuous Professional Development Employee Incentive schemes Role Description The Bus Driver has the primary responsibility for ensuring the health, safety and welfare of the children, staff and volunteers during bus transportation to and from the centre and on day trips. It is also the role of the Bus Driver to: Guarantee that the bus is always clean and in proper working condition Determine and follow safe and efficient bus routes Ensure all children are in age-appropriate child safety restraints Assist in ensuring child/staff ratio is maintained on the bus Maintain all transportation records required by the Creche. Ensure bus evacuation drills are held at least monthly Evacuate children in case of emergency Essential Skills Patience and kindness towards children and staff. Cleaning and maintenance of buses and Creche vehicles. Excellent Listening and Communication Skills Ability to identify and escalate issues where necessary Must be Garda Vetted. Clean driving license and up to date. Previous experience driving a minimum 8 seater bus. HOURS OF WORK: 20 hours per week, over 5 days. Split shift (7.30am to 9.30am approx. and 1pm to 3pm approx.).
