Job DescriptionAtkinsRéalis one of the world's leading providers of engineering professional consulting and support services with offices across Ireland.The Role:We are seeking a highly motivated Bid Writer to lead and coordinate the preparation of compelling, high-quality proposals for major infrastructure and consultancy projects across Ireland. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a flair for persuasive writing, and can manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines with confidence.Responsibilities:Lead the end-to-end bid process, from opportunity identification through to submission.Write, edit, and tailor bid content to align with client requirements and win themes.Coordinate input from technical, commercial, and operational teams to develop cohesive proposals.Manage bid timelines, ensuring all deliverables are completed to a high standard and on time.Develop and maintain a library of reusable content, case studies, and CVs.Conduct reviews and quality assurance of bid submissions.Support post-submission activities, including clarifications and presentations.Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform bid strategy.Requirements:Proven experience in bid writing and/or bid management, ideally in infrastructure, engineering, or consultancy sectors.Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.Strong project management and organisational abilities.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and bid management tools (e.g., InDesign, SharePoint, CRM systems).Degree-qualified in a relevant field (e.g., Communications, Business, Engineering) is desirable.What We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunity to work on high-profile bids that shape Ireland's infrastructure.Supportive and collaborative team environment.Career development and training opportunities.Flexible working arrangements and wellbeing initiatives.About Us:At AtkinsRéalis we put Environment, Sustainability and Health & Safety at the heart of our business strategy.
