Site Engineer – Sligo Location: Sligo
Sector: Construction / Main Contractor
Salary: €50,000–€65,000k + Package
Employment: Permanent, Full-Time
An established construction company is seeking a Site Engineer to join its team in Sligo. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer to work on high-quality construction projects in the Northwest with strong long-term career progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting out and surveying works on site.
- Ensure all works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and programme.
- Work closely with the Site Manager, Project Manager and subcontractors.
- Carry out quality checks and maintain accurate site records.
- Coordinate subcontractors and resolve technical issues on site.
- Review drawings and raise RFIs where required.
- Assist with planning and programming works.
- Ensure all works comply with Health & Safety requirements.
- Maintain as-built drawings and engineering records.
- Liaise with consultants, design teams and client representatives.
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
- 2+ years' experience working with a main contractor or construction company preferred.
- Strong setting-out experience.
- Experience with Total Station/GPS equipment.
- Good knowledge of construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Full Irish driving licence.
