About The Role
Flogas is seeking to recruit a Credit Control Agent to join our LPG division. This is a fast-paced role focused on managing customer accounts, reducing outstanding debt and delivering excellent customer service across a portfolio of domestic and commercial customers.
Key Responsibilities
& Duties
• Managing and reducing outstanding debt in line with company targets and KPIs
• Managing a portfolio of customer accounts, proactively following up on overdue balances and agreeing payment arrangements where required
• Ensuring Credit Policy and internal procedures are adhered to
• Investigating and resolving customer account queries in a timely manner
• Initiating and managing debt recovery actions, including disconnections and referrals where appropriate
• Escalating accounts where appropriate for further debt recovery action
• Working closely with internal departments to resolve account issues
• Maintaining accurate customer records and account notes
• Achieving individual and team performance targets and KPIs
• General administration and ad hoc duties as required About The Candidate The ideal candidate will have previous experience in Credit Control or Accounts Receivable and possess a strong understanding of the debt collection process. They will be comfortable managing a portfolio of customer accounts and working towards individual and team targets. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. They will be highly organised, detail-oriented and capable of working independently while contributing effectively as part of a team. A proactive approach, strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment are essential.
