About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and proactive Production Shift Leader to support our PM production shift. This is a hands-on leadership role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, where you will play a key part in ensuring smooth daily operations, meeting production targets, and maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step into a leadership position and make a real impact within a dynamic production team.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the Sorting & Washing department, ensuring an efficient workflow. Manage the flow of materials to production, ensuring products are correctly sorted, prepared and washed in the required sequence and priority. Understand the processing system and production requirements to ensure materials are available at the right time and in the correct order. Coordinate with the Production Manager and other departments to avoid delays and maintain production flow. Monitor machine performance, team productivity and material availability. Maintain accurate production records and ensure compliance with health, safety and quality standards. Lead, support and organise the team to achieve operational targets and deadlines. - Desirable Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment Experience in a supervisory or team lead role Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices Why Join Us?
