About the Role:

Leo Lynch is seeking a Senior Project Planner who will be part of an exciting, fast moving and growing business team. The right candidate for this job will be a self-starter with dedication to seeing projects through to the end. You will have an eye for detail and determination to standardize processes and turn-over high-quality work. You will be an integral part of the team that works cross-functionally to deliver results. 


This position will work closely with internal partners to deliver a portfolio of complex, multi-disciplinary, multi-million, multi-year construction projects in various new markets. You will ensure project schedules and are developed, updated and maintained enable the construction team to deploy projects safely, on-time, to quality and budget. 

This position involves direct contact with both internal and external stakeholders, and this candidate must have an ability to communicate effectively with business partners at every level, including upper management to inform decision making.

This person is a self-starter, and a creative, critical thinker with a focus on delivering results against high standards. You must be able to work independently in a collaborative, creative, ever-changing and ambiguous environment. The right person for this position will take ownership of their work, display a great deal of initiative, and possess sound judgment and a great business acumen. 


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the production, development and management of project schedules. (Design, Pre-construction, Procurement, Offsite fabrication, Construction and Commissioning).
  • Working on and assisting project managers to develop accurate programme of works files.
  • Generating Labour histograms, progress reports and for team, management, client, and stakeholders.
  • Monitoring and report on project progress.
  • Identify any issues in the planning process and assist in solving to a satisfactory conclusion.
  • Working with multiple teams across different sectors.
  • Responsibility for compliance with company standards and procedures.
  • Liaising with Directors, Management and Project team.
  • Assisting with company expansion plans.
  • Working with junior / intermediate project planners
  • Developing and maintaining companywide project reporting dashboard for board reports. 


Candidate requirements:

  • 5 - 7 years' experience in a planning role within the construction industry.
  • Relevant Qualification in Primavera P6, Asta and Microsoft Project.
  • Self-motivated organized individual.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work on own initiative. 
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Negotiation skills, Scheduling and time management.
  • Experience using Microsoft 365 suit of programs.
