We have a superb opportunity for a Storage Site Reliability Engineer with strong operational focus and managing Data at scale.
As a Storage Site Reliability Engineer at SIG, you will be working at scale from the start on challenging Infrastructure problems. You will be exposed to a mix of Enterprise Storage and High Performance Computing workloads, all while applying a CI/CD approach.
Key Responsibilities
Deploy, administer and support a multi-Petabyte storage ecosystem encompassing storage area network (SAN), network attached storage (NAS) and High Performance computing (HPC). Deploy, administer and support SIG’s Enterprise Data Protection infrastructure (Business continuity infrastructure, tape libraries, disk libraries and backup software) Creation and maintenance of supporting documentation and knowledge transfer to other team members. Automation of daily tasks and operations across multiple storage platforms. Monitoring, reporting and proactive diagnosis of systems health and performance.What we're looking for
Who you are:
Technical: 5 years plus experience A scripting language like PowerShell/Python would be desirable. B.S. in a technical discipline.
