This role is a retail graduate programme partnering with Skillnet Ireland spanning over 3 years.


This amazing opportunity allows a candidate to work while achieving a level 7 degree with minimal time in college (awarding body ATU).


It is a combination of majority on the job experience combined with 19 days external training per year in Dublin City/online. This role is perfect for someone who wants to learn and progress within their career while developing a new skill set.



The right candidate for this Retail Trainee Manager Job will need to have the capability to step up and take responsibility for the store in the absence of the store manager, they will also need to be an enthusiastic and dynamic individual.

Must be flexible to move across store locations as required.


The duties of this Retail Trainee Manager Job are:

  • Supervise the store as required
  • Ensure that best practices are in place in the department including merchandising standards/store set up & finish and the running of promotions.
  • Assist the manager by keeping a focus on reducing waste and markdown in the department
  • Promote sales opportunities within the store
  • Monitor stock levels to ensure availability for customers at all times through
  • Lead by example in communicating with customers to deliver excellent customer service
  • Maximise sales opportunities
  • Assist with opening and closing the store as required
  • Lead and inspire colleagues.

The Requirements for this Retail Trainee Manager Job are:

  • 2 years or more experience working as a Trainee Manager or Supervisor in a retail environment
  • A real passion for retail & wine
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, communication and motivational skills
  • Must be driven and willing to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ideally a full drivers licence
