Overall Purpose of the Job

You will carry out planned maintenance activities, reactive maintenance and new installations enablingthe business to carry out their business activities in a safe comfortable, productive & cost effectiveenvironment. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient execution of planned and unplannedmaintenance of plant and utilities, in compliance with the company’s and client’s EHS and Qualitystandards. This is a nationwide mobile mechanical engineer role.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Perform a range of technical duties to install, service and maintain. Carry out planned preventative maintenance on all mechanical systems and equipment. Proactively identify maintenance issues, to maximise equipment uptime. Servicing of mechanical equipment, boilers, heat systems components and pressure units. Complete fault resolution and repairs to broken down equipment. Upload appropriate PPM records and reports in line with requirements. Assist in quoting for follow on works, installation of new plant and equipment. Provide relevant information to assist with the generation of reports. Ensure compliance at all times with Health and Safety and legislative requirements. Carry out is in compliance with all current regulations. Must be RGI qualified. Ensure that EH & S procedures are adhered to at all times. Contribute to targets related to Safety, Quality, Compliance and Continuous Improvement. 

Qualifications and Experience

Senior Trades in a plumbing/mechanical discipline. Diploma in a relevant mechanical engineering discipline. Experience in the following areas - Utilities / Facilities. Formal training (RGI Qualified). Proven track record in Preventative and Reactive Maintenance in a similar environment. This role requires Garda Vetting.
