Production Equipment Europe is a leading industrial distributor, supplying over 90,000 products to customers across Europe.

We are looking for a talented, creative and passionate individual to assist the team in researching and creating original copy for our websites in addition to the production of customer documentation including catalogues, brochures and marketing materials.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain company websites and customer portals: Update the websites with new products and remove discontinued items. Ensure product specifications, images, etc. are all accurate and of high quality
  • Write clear, concise and compelling text that accurately describes products and generates sales whilst complying with house style guide
  • Actively contribute to our department’s content calendar, researching industry-related topics and informative blog posts and articles
  • Drive and maintain website accuracy; reviewing and updating product descriptions, identifying any obsolete items, 
  • Liaise with our marketing team on content creation for social media including organic posts, advising on topics and collating the necessary information
  • Conduct keyword research and apply SEO principles and best practices to maximise the reach of each product.
  • Support and ensure compliance with content guidelines, tone, style, and voice
  • Production of any customer-specific texts, catalogues, brochures, leaflets and any marketing materials as required, within strict timeframes and deadlines
  • Proofread and review all content produced by the Content and Marketing teams, advising on any alterations and edits to be made
  • Collaborate with designers on the production of website and social media banners, graphics, images, etc. in addition to marketing materials
  • Production of training and educational materials (written and other) as required

Skills & Experience

  • 2-3 years’ experience in a copywriting role
  • 3rd Level qualification in one of the following: English, Journalism or Business
  • Fluent English speaker with strong attention to detail and grammar is essential
  • Experience and outstanding skills in writing about technical subjects aimed at a variety of audiences with varying levels of technical knowledge and understanding
  • Experience with CMS including WordPress, Magento and PIM applications
  • Knowledgeable on the fundamentals of SEO and keyword research
  • Familiarity with Adobe software including photoshop and illustrator is an advantage
  • Ability to be self-directed and effective working independently yet equally comfortable and strong as a contributing member in a team environment
  • Detail-oriented with great problem-solving abilities and an analytical approach to issues that may arise
  • Flexible worth ethic and approach: Ability to work to and adhere to strict deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; confident taking point on projects, meetings, etc.
