Facilitates the approval of IBS and impact tolerances by the IBS owner and Head of Branch / CEO at legal entity level. Prepares and supports the facilitation of governance to enable senior management to steer the decision of relevant UK legal entities towards continuous strengthening of resilience by: Coordinating and producing baseline legal entity operational resiliency metrics with IBS owners, Asset Servicing & Technology Resiliency Offices and Risk partners, Producing legal entity reporting which enables prompt identification and escalation of material operational resilience issues at an aggregate legal entity level, and Coordinating aggregation and presentation of legal entity key risks and escalations to relevant stakeholders and governance forums. Maintains the self-assessment documentation for each legal entity (including overseeing the completion of specific sections by the different IBS owners / business functions). Engages with Heads of Branch / CEO and IBS owners to promote consistent setting of resiliency risk appetite by legal entities. Performs and documents assessments of risk acceptances and exceptions, and obtains approval from relevant senior executives and risk governance forums for any deviation from the requirements of operational resilience policies (i.e. when no manual workaround or contingency plan exists) on the basis that they are within legal entity / business unit risk appetite.
