About the Role


 

The ideal candidate will possess extensive DevOps experience and will join our UK&I Technology team. You will be responsible for developing tools and microservices that propel our products forward and working with cross functional teams. A big part of the role will be migrating from AWS Cloud platform to Azure.
 

Responsibilities
 

Ensuring we write well-tested, documented, and peer-reviewed code by encouraging best practices and applying software engineering principles Designing, implementing, and maintaining automated build, test, and deployment pipelines, as well as implementing security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle. Collaborating with cross-functional technical teams to deliver successful, high-profile, business-critical projects in a fast-moving, product-centric environment Developing infrastructure automation scripts using tools like Terraform/Terragrunt.


Requirements
 

Experience with cloud technologies and providers like AWS or Azure. Experience with modern dev practices and supporting technologies such as CI/CD, BDD, Terraform and GitHub/GitLab Be able to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams in Technical discussions. Demonstrate proficiency in relevant technical skills and tools required for the role. Have knowledge of Java/Spring boot Be familiar with containerisation technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
