HGV Artic Driver

Hughes Farming is a 700-acre fresh produce and tillage farm situated in Kilkenny in Southeast Ireland. The company grows, processes, packs, and distributes fresh produce to the retail and wholesale markets in Ireland and exports to Europe and North America.

The Role: Hughes Farming are currently seeking applications for the role of a HGV Artic Truck Driver. The role comprises of but is not limited to:

· Operating a clean Scania and fridge for on-time delivery and collection service to customers and suppliers

· Point to point fridge work from Kilkenny to Dublin for own in-house haulage.

· Responsible for the general upkeep of the vehicle/tractor unit and trailer and expected to keep a clean cab at all times.

· Ensuring all documentation is accurately completed

· Maintain and control H&S, quality, and HACCP requirements relating to the transport system

The Candidate: Will be a highly enthusiastic, strong-minded, and motivated individual with

· Minimum 2 years’ experience driving HGV

· Flexible work approach and working effectively as part of a team, providing support in resolving problems

· Excellent organization skills

· Good communication skills

· Good attitude and ability to work within a team is essential

· Must hold a clean valid HGV licence E + C Class

· High awareness of hygiene and food safety requirements

· Up to date tachograph card
