We have a fantastic opportunity for a Wedding Co-Ordinator to cover maternity leave in the Hodson Bay Hotel.

The successful candidate will have a passion for creating memorable experiences for our couples and their wedding guests.
We work together as a team to ensure that we exceed guest expectations every time. We do this by ensuring the highest standards of products are on offer and by achieving excellent service standards at all times. Exceeding guest expectations is part of our service culture and as part of the Sales team you will have a strong customer focus.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Responsible for wedding enquiries, from initial contact to booking.
Communicate with the wedding couple from initial booking stages.
Maximise sales opportunities and actual bookings by way of excellent people skills, product knowledge and closing sales ability.
Ensure the highest level and delivery of 'first impression' and customer satisfaction by providing exceptional and professional service to all potential clients.
Facilitate venue viewings/ show-arounds.
Assist clients with menu planning, tastings, food and beverage coordination, table arrangements, decoration options, etc.
Communicate effectively with relevant departments on upcoming wedding details e.g. Chefs regarding menus.
Source feedback pre and post weddings to determine potential enhancements to guest experience.
Any other duties required by management.
Ideal Candidate:
- Fluent level of spoken and written English
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong telephone etiquette and sales skills
- Proven experience working as part of a team
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Basic IT skills
- Previous experience in a similar role would be desirable but not essential, as full handover and training will be provided.
- Experience in the 4* Hotel market in Ireland desired.
