Role

As an HR Business Partner (HRBP) based in our Cork laundry facility, you will be at the heart of aligning HR initiatives with our business objectives, ensuring that our team remains engaged and motivated. With 3-5 years of HRBP experience, you will offer both strategic and hands-on support, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence. Your independent, proactive approach, combined with a deep understanding of HR best practices, will be instrumental in creating a positive and productive workplace. You will also collaborate closely with the operations, sales, service and logistics teams, with regular travel to Dublin and occasional international trips, as you will be part of a dynamic, international team.

 

We are seeking an experienced HRBP with extensive knowledge, excellent collaboration skills, and a positive, fun attitude. The ideal candidate is someone who can build trust quickly and has a "get things done" mentality to drive results and foster a strong team dynamic. In this role, you will collaborate closely with colleagues from the HR Shared Services Center (HRSSC) to ensure seamless coordination and support across all HR functions.

 

What will be your responsibilities? 

 

  • HR Strategy Implementation: Collaborate with business leaders to understand their goals and develop HR strategies that align with and support business objectives.
  • Trusted Advisor: Act as a key resource for employees and managers, providing expert guidance on HR matters while addressing concerns with professionalism and care.
  • Recruitment & Talent Development: Lead recruitment efforts, from interviewing to onboarding, while supporting talent development, performance management, and succession planning initiatives.
  • Positive Work Environment: Drive initiatives that foster a positive, inclusive workplace, enhancing employee satisfaction and retention.
  • HR Policies & Compliance: Assist in creating, implementing, and communicating HR policies and procedures, ensuring full compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
  • Change Management: Support the business through organizational changes, ensuring a smooth transition and effective communication with all stakeholders.
  • Offboarding: Oversee the offboarding process, including conducting insightful exit interviews to drive continuous improvement.
  • Workshops & Training: Organize and facilitate workshops and training sessions on key HR topics to promote knowledge and development across the team.
  • Cross-functional Projects: Lead and contribute to cross-functional HR projects, such as process improvements, employee engagement, and organizational development programs, ensuring timely execution aligned with business goals.


Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner, with a proven track record in strategic HR management.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Deep understanding of HR principles, best practices, and the ability to apply them effectively in diverse situations.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance at all levels.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build trust with employees and leadership alike.
  • A problem-solving mindset, adept at handling sensitive issues with tact and discretion.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Workday is a plus.
