Job Objectives
We are seeking applications for the role of a Fleet Manager. The post holder will be responsible for the management and administration of the company fleet of vehicles. They will ensure the fleet is maintained to the highest possible standard in order to facilitate and guarantee the ongoing safe and quality delivery of services.
This will include the following on a day-to-day basis:
Live our Mission, Vision and Values. Ensuring all company vehicles are taxed and insured and relevant documentation issued to centre management / management. Responding to any vehicle maintenance requests. Ensuring company vehicles are maintained and is safe to drive on the roads. Ensuring vehicles are serviced regularly and have a valid NCT / DOE. Responding to company vehicle accidents and repairs. Ensure compliance with company vehicle policy and repayment agreements where required. Ensuring company vehicles are fitted with Dash-Cams where applicable. Ensuring company vehicles are fitted with telematics device. Monitor and review telematics to identify driver behaviour concerns and respond appropriately. Escalating any defects / concerns relating to roadworthiness of company vehicles and resolve with suppliers where possible, ensuring swift return to roadworthiness of all the fleet. Ensure adherence to Company Fuel Card Policy. Complete inspections on company vehicles and follow up with actions where required. Purchase vehicles in line with budgets and in line with the needs for the service while maintaining relevant documentation. Manage budgets for services / repairs and motor related costs. Review any vehicle accident reports and follow up accordingly. Complete reports, where required, following vehicle accidents. Support management and team member with motor related concerns and issues that may arise. Comply with company's safety / security rules and instructions in performing work efficiently while protecting self, fellow workers, and the Individuals. Training delivery as required on fleet. Review of trends and implementation of corrective actions where required. Ensuring the National Fleet Database is maintained. Work in a way that ensures the service is delivered in compliance with relevant legislation, Nua Healthcare’s values, policies, practices and contracts. Liaise with suppliers to ensure no delays in repairs and service of the Fleet. Reviewing and approving invoices linked to fleet while ensuring due diligence. Review and agree additional suppliers as necessary in line with business needs. Being available to support as required. Adhere to all GDPR legislation and policies.
