Welder / Metal Fabricator

Cross Agricultural Engineering Ltd. are currently seeking full time welders to weld and manufacture Cross products in the factory based in Rathangan,Co.Kildare

​About the Company: Cross is a leading Engineering company who specialize in the design and manufacturing of Farm, Biogas, commercial and food processing machinery. We offer a top of the range service as standard to all our customers and would like to offer that training to our apprentices who get the opportunity to work with us. Currently there are 40 staff working in a state of the art factory and each staff member is given his/her own dedicated work bay. 

​About the Job: Full time welders and metal fabricators are required to fill positions in the Cross factory. Qualification is a bonus but not essential. Staff must have at least 1 year full time experience in welding or metal fabrication. All Welding is carried out using new Mig welders. All welding torches are provided on overhead booms to dedicated work bays, so welding can be as comfortable as possible for the operator.

Pay: This will be discussed at the interview stage.

Requirements: 

​​Must be 18 years of age or older.

No experience required (training provided).

Good communication skills.

Ability to read manufacturing drawings.

Ability to work as part of a team.

Must have at least 1 year welding experience.

Qualified papers are a bonus but not essential.
