The Digital Communications Client Service role is at Associate Director level within Teneo and is responsible for making a significant contribution to the company’s reputation, profitable growth and retention of clients.

Digital Client Service Associate Directors have responsibility for helping leading client accounts and supporting teams to deliver to highest standards. They inspire new thinking, take an active role in contributing to our culture. Associate Directors play a pivotal role in retaining and developing our best talent both as a client team leader and mentor/coach.

Specific Responsibilities

As an Associate Director your responsibilities will include:

Leading the day-to-day delivery on client accounts and delivering to the highest standards Acting as a trusted client adviser, building strong and deep client relationships at all levels of the client’s organisation Demonstrating strong listening and influencing skills and can challenge briefs drawing on evidence and experience. Managing projects profitably, with clear scope of work and an understanding of agreed expectations. Prepares appropriate budgets with an understanding of value being delivered and provides timely and accurate client budget information internally and for clients. Demonstrate strong digital experience, with confidence to present to colleagues outside client team as an expert on running and measurement of digital campaigns and brings other expertise into client relationships to enhance impact as needed. Potential to work on non-digital creative campaigns- radio, print, broadcast, DOOH and OOH . Have a strong awareness of legislative requirements re: digital across industries e-privacy, accessibility, pharmacovigilance, alcohol marketing. Lead with a collaborative, collegiate style proactively builds a deep understanding of other areas of expertise and bring these to benefit clients. Actively drive growth and new revenue from existing clients and new business lead generation, including networking to identify new business opportunities and develop the consultancy’s reputation with potential clients and prospects. Leading pitch processes well ensuring plans are built on clear insight and strong audience understanding. Act as strong leader to juniors and the wider business of cross functional internal and external teams. Provides strong team management and leadership to support career development through mentoring and coaching within teams and across the consultancy.

Key Skills & Experience 

Social and digital strategy development Creative brief-writing and execution Knowledge of digital media buying across social, search and display KPI setting and measurement experience. Experience running campaigns across major social media platforms, in particular LinkedIn, X, Meta and TikTok (amongst others). Experience in other media formats, such as broadcast and print (ideal but not necessary). Knowledge of generative AI is desirable but not necessary. A passion for good creative, with a particular strength in attention to detail and creative ideation Good grasp of English language: grammar and written as elements of copywriting may be required. Significant experience in managing team workflow and projects as well as managing junior employees’ career development
