Job Description:
Our client, a luxurious property in Co Meath, is looking for four talented and passionate Chefs de Partie (CDP) to join their esteemed culinary team. As a CDP, you will be responsible for managing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes. You will work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef, contributing to the overall success of the kitchen with your expertise and creativity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your section to the highest standards.
  • Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with the property's high standards.
  • Supervise and train junior staff, ensuring that they work to the best of their abilities.
  • Manage stock levels, order ingredients, and minimize waste in your section.
  • Maintain high levels of cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new menu ideas and contribute to the creation of exceptional dining experiences.
  • Assist with the smooth running of the kitchen, helping out in other sections when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role in a high-end or luxury hospitality setting.
  • Strong culinary skills and a passion for creating high-quality dishes.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to excellence.
