Purely Automotive Recruitment Ltd is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for the position of Parts Manager for our client based in Ballintemple, Cork, Ireland.
Owing to continued success and growth, our client is looking for an experienced Parts Manager. As Parts Manager you will have proven skills by working methodically and accurately ensuring your team provide the highest level of service to customers.
Requirements
You will be responsible for the day to day running of the Parts Department and ensuring the parts advisors achieve their daily targets. Your responsibilities will also include:
- Providing leadership and direction to the parts department.
- Ensuring the dealership achieves optimum market penetration by maximising sales of parts to trade and retail outlets.
- Managing parts stock levels and keep debtors to a minimum.
- Ensuring the accurate and timely completion of all department administration and operational data.
- Developing a marketing and publicity strategy to promote all products and services effectively.
- Briefing the team regarding department objectives and give regular feedback on achievements.
- Developing and maintain professional working relationships with supplier’s external representatives.
- Achieving the highest level of customer care and satisfaction at all times
Your profile
To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced parts professional with leadership experience, ideally from the franchised dealership sector and have strong links or reside in a commutable distance to Cork. In addition to your experience, you will demonstrate the following skills:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team.
- A professional and calm approach with strong stakeholder management skills.
- Proven business acumen, problem-solving abilities and relationship-building skills.
