Job Description

Applications are invited for the role of Quality Technician to join the Quality Control/Technical Team. The successful candidate will be based in the Northwest Region and will report to the Regional Quality Supervisor.

About The Role

Key duties and responsibilities.

  • Adhere to all Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.

  • Perform all tasks following strict methodologies.

  • Collecting material samples from our quarry, customer sites and manufacturing processes.

  • Communicating with Managers, Production and Commercial personnel where potential issues may arise, and developing solutions with them.

  • Liaising with Technical Managers on products, process performance and sustainability.

  • Assist with internal and external audits.  

  • Keeping accurate records, updating relevant database, and maintaining QC equipment.

  • Conducting site visits to address complaints.

  • Supervision of concrete pours.

  • Additional duties as required.

Key Skills.

  • Relevant third level qualification would be an advantage.

  • 1-2 years relevant experience in a laboratory or construction industry would be an advantage, however training will be provided.

  • Competent record keeping skills and attention to detail.

  • Computer literate and good communication skills.

  • Good report writing skills and ability to work in a team.
