Key Responsibilities

  • Must be a highly skilled and responsive staff team to provide the people we support with high-quality care.
  • Helping with light housework, basic shopping, meal preparation, personal care, toileting, and medication supervision.
  • Providing social and emotional assistance.
  • Tracking and recording the progress of clients.
  • Assisting a diversified healthcare team.
  • Establishing a caring and secure atmosphere for clients.
  • Helping and advising carers by offering support, direction, and the mobilising of community resources.
  • Documenting and reporting any occurrences.
  • Following the rules on health and safety.
  • Adjusting to the house's 24-hour needs.(capacity to work both days and nights if necessary)


Requirements
  • Candidates must possess a Level 7 or 8 degree in Social Care, Social Studies, or a related discipline.
  • Being eligible for registration with CORU is considered an advantage.
  • A full, clean driving license is required for this position.
  • Familiarity with New Directions Services and Supports for adults with disabilities is beneficial.
  • The ability to work independently is essential for this role.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
  • Flexibility in adapting to changing circumstances and shift patterns, Expectations is required.
  • Applicants must be eligible to work in the Republic of Ireland.
