Director of Procurement

KDP Ireland is seeking a strategic, agile, and energetic Director of Procurement to lead all aspects of the Global CAPEX function and manage a team of three direct reports that are based in the United States and Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategy development and deployment of the various CAPEX categories including packaging, processing equipment and infrastructure while ensuring long-term supply, unparalleled quality and service, enhanced profitability, positive internal and external relationships, and support to KDPs sustainability initiatives. The candidate will also serve as a key member of both the Global Procurement leadership team as well as the Extended Procurement leadership team to drive continuous improvement within KDP Global sourcing and the overall Procurement operating model.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead functional and cross-functional global teams amidst multiple countries and continents. Develop and inspire the CAPEX sourcing team to execute strategy and drive best in class results. Reports include Manager, CAPEX Sourcing (US), SR Manager, CAPEX Sourcing (US), SR Manager, CAPEX Sourcing (IRL) Lead initiatives to drive functional improvements in process and engagement as a key member of the KDP Global Sourcing leadership team. Collaborate, influence, and align stakeholders and BU leaders to ideas and category strategies that deliver BU goals and metrics, including year-over-year cost savings and risk mitigation. Deploy all aspects of strategic category management and supplier life-cycle management, including business requirements, strategy development, strategy deployment, supplier segmentation, performance management, and risk analysis. Acquire and provide market knowledge for the various categories and industries. Conduct quarterly business reviews with strategic suppliers as part of the supplier performance management process. Liaise with other members of the extended Procurement Leadership team to drive continuous improvement of the Procurement function. Partner closely with Legal, Tax, Finance, and all other necessary functions to draft and negotiate complex contracts in a manner that adds value, balances risk, and protects company reputation. Lead compliance initiatives with Environmental, Sustainability and Regulatory efforts pertaining to sourcing areas: Ethical Sourcing : Ensure supplier compliance with KDP's Ethical Sourcing Policy Risk Management : Proactively identify and address supplier risks and develop business continuity plans to mitigate interruptions in supply. Sustainability : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and advance KDP's Drink Well Do Good corporate responsibility initiatives Track and monitor performance and be accountable for project and financial commitments. Create and update project progress plans to reflect necessary activities, savings, cost, and timing. Ensure projects are upheld to business standards prior to implementation. Areas addressed include, but are not limited to, quality, technical, regulatory & legal compliance, finance reporting, marketing, sales and consumer acceptance, manufacturing, and supply chain deployment.

Qualifications
Bachelors Degree (or equivalent) from an accredited university Minimum 10 years procurement leadership experience, preferably in CPG Demonstrated capability of building diverse, high performing, and very engaged teams Experience leading and realizing year-over-year productivity programs. Experience as a skilled change agent and negotiator to reach consensus, buy-in and commitment from internal and external partners. Proven ability to develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships. Experience in supplier identification, development, and qualification. Ability to work in a fast-paced organization; manage and prioritize multiple issues and projects with urgency and responsiveness. Proficiency in navigating a multinational and matrix environment. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Strong analytical skills and financial acumen Excellent judgment in knowing how to proactively communicate, escalate issues and propose solutions. Strong decision-making abilities and experience leading teams and complex projects Collaborative, team-first mindset to drive optimal results for the organization.-
