About the Role 

To assist the Senior Commercial Finance Analyst, business partner the C&C Brand Marketing teams, providing insight and adding value to commercial decisions and to help the team maintain budget spend by providing information, insight and challenge. You’ll regularly keep close working with colleagues across the wider C&C business to ensure a full company view.

Key Accountabilities 

Business Partnering members of the marketing teams and Brand Managers who are responsible for the marketing and promotion of C&Cs core brands in the UK and Ireland Helping to prepare budgets, quarterly forecasts for Finance & Brand Marketing teams.  Monthly production of Brand P&Ls, and brand performance reports, analysing the outputs and adding context and insight for the marketing teams Working with the Brand Marketing teams in the UK and Ireland to maintain and update internal spend trackers ensuring that they reconcile with the GL and highlighting any risks or opportunities to budget. Tracking Prepayments/Accruals and calculating releases to the P&L and ensuring the balance sheets are reconciled. Building and developing reports to help provide insight on Brand performance using a range of business intelligence tools and software. Being the first point of contact in finance for members of the Marketing team, being able to help with queries, provide guidance about C&C’s financial processes and source data regarding our Brands’ commercial performance.

About you 

We're looking for someone who has strong commercial awareness and business understanding, is inquisitive and will challenge the status quo and ways of working, ability to work cross functionally and build credible relationships as a finance business partner and is dedicated to providing user friendly and useful information through financial analysis techniques.

The successful candidate must have intermediate to advance Excel skills demonstrating efficient use of spreadsheets, previous experience using accounting software and business reporting systems is advantageous (PowerBi)

Good data literacy and understanding of how to combine data from multiple sources
