Some of the responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate across stakeholder groups to generate and document business requirements for development.
  • Understand application systems development throughout the full product lifecycle, working with stakeholders and help manage end user expectations.
  • Elicit, document, and maintain requirements including system interviews, functional narratives and detailed Use Cases and Use Case Scenarios.
  • Plan and lead the business processes development and improvement sessions resulting in a full understanding of the “As-Is” and “To-Be” business processes.
  • Responsible for data schema and data mapping of requirements.
  • Creation of supporting product documentation.
  • Develop scope, define and prioritise backlog items (epic/features/user stories) that guide the Agile software development team.
  • Develop appropriately detailed specifications for product features so they are clearly understood by stakeholders and the development teams.
  • Work with the UX team to ensure that UX and user stories are fully aligned.
  • Possess a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience, integrations and dependencies.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Significant years of experience gathering requirements would be ideal.
  • Must be able to write test documentation and procedures, tracking errors and documenting test results
  • Experience with system analysis and documenting all aspects of business processes, data mapping and analytics. 
  • Experience working in the alternative investment fund services is preferred.
  • Experience working with systems like Geneva, ManTra and Investran is preferred.
  • Experience with client facing portal development is preferred.
  • Expert proficiency in Excel and Word. Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence is nice to have.
  • Business and Process Analysis knowledge, particularly on workflow/data flow management.
  • Exposure to Waterfall, Agile and hybrid methods are an advantage.
