The Director Business Process is a senior role in the Clinical Solutions – Data Operations team who will report directly to the Senior Director of Data Enablement and will be accountable for end-to-end business process design, delivery & management, leveraging a matrixed environment of data, technology & global teams. The Director Business Process will directly manage a small sub-team of Associate Directors Business Process. Optum is looking for a curious, critical thinking & initiative-taking leader who proactively takes accountability for business process management and quality, including issue management and conflict resolution.
Primary Responsibilities of the Director, Business Processes
Provide end-to-end business process leadership & execution for the Clinical Solutions Data Operations business.Continuously demonstrate leadership behaviors & practices to drive value and growth, such as Critical Thinking, Fostering Innovation, Resilience & Resourcefulness, Collaborating, Communicating Effectively, Engaging with Leaders & Producing Results.Drive your team to continuous development of existing processes as well as develop new processes to meet emerging business needs.Work collaboratively, and in partnership with a broad spectrum of leaders, business partners to ensure flawless execution of business processes across the full end-to-end spectrum of the Clinical Solutions Data Operations business. Collaborate with technology teams to introduce new and innovative ideas to promote growth and value across the business, that include emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.Proactively support the continuous development of high performing teams & individual performance while cultivating team engagement.Required Qualifications of the Director, Business Processes
Undergraduate degree from an accredited University or College.Extensive experience leading the development of end-to-end business processes in a senior leadership roleExperience working in a senior leadership role managing multiple Data Quality initiatives, including audit processes,Preferred Qualifications of the Director, Business Processes
Working knowledge of the US Healthcare Industry.Proficient knowledge of SDLC & Agile Scrum frameworks.Accredited qualification in Business Management.Post-graduate degree in relevant field.Experience in configuring and leading new business workstreams.Experience managing financial budgets and forecasting.Experience leading and executing continuous change initiatives.Please note you must currently be eligible to work and remain indefinitely without any restrictions in the country to which you are making an application.
