Job Title: New Product Development (NPD) Manager

Location: Naas, Co. Kildare

About: My client is a leading player in the food industry, committed to delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our customers. As they continue to expand our product portfolio, we're on the lookout for a talented and innovative NPD Manager to join our client's passionate team.

Responsibilities:

Product Strategy and Planning:

Develop and implement a comprehensive NPD strategy aligned with the company's business objectives.Create product roadmaps and prioritize projects based on market trends, consumer insights, and business goals.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Foster collaboration between the NPD team, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to ensure seamless product launches.Act as a key liaison between departments, facilitating effective communication and knowledge sharing.

Market Research and Analysis:

Conduct market research to identify gaps and opportunities in the food industry.Analyze competitor products, pricing strategies, and consumer preferences to inform NPD decisions.

Recipe Development and Testing:

Lead recipe ideation and development, working closely with chefs, food scientists, and other team members.Oversee product testing and refinement, ensuring products meet quality and taste standards.

Project Management:

Manage the end-to-end product development process, from concept to commercialization.Establish and monitor project timelines, ensuring deadlines are met and resources are optimally utilized.

Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance:

Ensure all products comply with regulatory standards and certifications.Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to maintain high-quality standards throughout the development process.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Culinary Arts, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus. 3-5 years of experience in NPD roles within the food industry, with a track record of successful product launches. Strong knowledge of food trends, ingredients, and culinary techniques. Proven project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
