Food and Beverage Director - Join our passionate team

Select Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Food and Beverage Director. The Food and Beverage Director will be responsible for overseeing and managing the food and beverage operations of our clients' establishments. This includes developing and implementing strategies to drive revenue growth, managing and training staff, ensuring high-quality service, and maintaining excellent relations with suppliers. The successful candidate will have a strong background in the hospitality industry, with proven experience in managing food and beverage operations.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive revenue growth in the food and beverage department
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction
  • Manage and train staff, ensuring their professional development and motivation
  • Create and execute innovative food and beverage menus, taking into account customer preferences and dietary trends
  • Monitor and control costs, including food and beverage inventory and waste reduction
  • Maintain excellent relations with suppliers and negotiate contracts for food and beverage supplies
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards
  • Analyze financial data and prepare reports on revenue, expenses, and profitability

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a senior food and beverage management role, preferably in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with guests, colleagues, and suppliers.
  • A passion for food and beverage and a commitment to delivering an exceptional dining experience.
  • Strong financial acumen, with the ability to analyze financial data and implement strategies to drive revenue and profitability.
  • A proactive and results-oriented approach, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
