About The Role
The Junior ICT Security Analyst is responsible for assisting in the application of ICT security policy, standards and guidelines, Risk Management, Security Monitoring, and investigation in Kerry.
This is an excellent opportunity to get involved in the cyber security area in an Irish based multi-national with a global footprint. The role reports to the ICT Security Manager and is ideally suited to a recent graduate looking to begin their career in Cyber Security governance.
Kerry operates a Hybrid working policy, candidates will be required to work from our offices in Naas each week.
What will I be doing?
Assisting security team members with generating reports, communication with users and tracking follow up actions. Maintaining a list of active projects, initiatives, and tasks within the security team. Triage requests to the security team Assisting in managing ICT risk and associated KRIs under guidance of team members. Monitoring and testing defined security controls. Provide users with guidance related to policy compliance. Undertaking project-based security assessments as required Assisting in the selection and deployment of additional security products and services. Assisting in continuous improvement of Kerry’s Security Incident Response processes Assist in management of MSS (Managed Security Services) and SIEM.

Assist in reviewing potential SAAS providers security controls to ensure they meet Kerry’s standards. Review 3rd party security controls to ensure they continue to meet Kerry’s standards. Evaluate security impacts of proposed changes in Kerry’s ICT landscape. Evaluation of new threats/risks to Kerry Group and identifying mitigation steps Work with internal & external auditors, data protection office and other stakeholders as required. Security Incident Response and investigation.
What do I need to be successful?

These include:
Minimum 3rd level degree in IT or relevant qualifications. Some general ICT experience is desirable. Previous experience in Cyber Security is desirable but not necessary. Interest in developing Cyber Security skills and pursuing relevant certifications. Ability to work under your own initiatives along with in a team environment. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. Ability to prioritise workload and work well under pressure to meet deadlines and concurrently.
