FRS Recruitment are currently recruiting a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Specialist Radiographer with expertise in PET/CT for a prestigious private hospital in Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity for a radiology professional to advance their career in a state-of-the-art healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the PET/CT department, ensuring the highest standards of clinical practice.
  • Perform and oversee a range of advanced imaging procedures, including SPECT/CT, PET/CT, and Radiopharmacy operations.
  • Administer intravenous cannulation and radiopharmaceuticals with precision and care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive diagnostic services.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to a team of radiographers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, regulatory standards, and hospital policies.
  • Maintain and manage imaging equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and safety.

Qualifications:

  • Essential:

    • BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography or an equivalent qualification.
    • Post-graduate qualification in PET/CT.
    • CORU registration (mandatory).
    • A minimum of 6 years' experience in the modality or a post-graduate qualification with at least 3 years of relevant experience.

  • Desirable:

    • Completion of a management course is advantageous but not required.
