We are hiring a Senior Radiographer in a Private Hospital in Cork, Ireland.
Key Responsibilities

  •  Undertake radiographic and imaging examinations as required by the Department of Radiology.
  •  Organise the imaging of patients in the Diagnostic Imaging Department
  • Undertake training as required for new Radiographers, student Radiographers, trainee Radiologists, etc.
  • Manage, participate, and play a role in the practice education of students Radiographers
  • Participate in training new members of staff in equipment and department protocols. 
  • Ensure patient comfort while in the Diagnostic Imaging Department, explaining procedures, waiting times, etc. 
  • Review radiology requests for correct ordering details e.g. LMP hazards, and clinical details.


Requirements
  • CORU Registration
  • Relevant Radiography Experience
  • RPO qualification or willingness to undertake
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Commitment and understanding the importance of quality and safety
