Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for an Area Service Manager to join our team, overseeing operations across Limerick and Tipperary. As an Area Service Manager, you will be responsible for supervising teams at multiple sites, maintaining excellent client relationships, and ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of our services. This role involves managing timesheets, overseeing staff performance, conducting appraisals, and handling recruitment and onboarding processes.


Key Responsibilities


  • Customer Satisfaction: Upholding service standards and fostering strong client relationships.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensuring site operations are efficient, consistent, and compliant with company standards.
  • Health and Safety: Maintaining a safe working environment for all site staff.
  • Performance Management: Overseeing staff performance, conducting appraisals, and addressing disciplinary matters when necessary.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Managing the hiring and induction process to ensure staff are fully trained and meet the required standards.
  • First Point of Contact: Acting as the primary point of escalation for any client or staff concerns.


Duties Include


  • Regularly visiting client sites as per the agreed schedule and management plan.
  • Conducting quality audits to ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations and agreed specifications.
  • Addressing any client concerns promptly and efficiently.
  • Completing and submitting ISO and HSEQ documentation.
  • Monitoring the security and proper storage of cleaning equipment and materials.
  • Identifying staff training and development needs and facilitating eLearning as required.
  • Performing face-to-face checks and completing mandatory staff inductions.
  • Providing on-site training for new staff on machinery usage, colour coding, and COSHH compliance.


Requirements


  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within soft services or a technical environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organised, with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • A full, clean driving licence is essential.
