Position Summary

Executes assigned project elements with an emphasis on should cost and value engineering for sustaining projects. Employ project management and engineering experience to analyse part and portfolios for should cost and other opportunities for cost savings.

What you will do

Drive Should Cost modellingLearn and practice use of value engineering tools and templates to drive consistency across all effortsOwn and manage functions of value engineering analysis and produce outputsCo-lead should cost sprints in focus categories or across categoriesLiaise with various functional stakeholders to get inputs into building should cost modelsDrive excellence throughout the agile cost sprint executionCodify learning into organizational best practicesAll other duties as assigned.

What you will need

Engineering degree (or equivalent knowledge).4+ years of experience as minimum/good professional expertise.Professional knowledge and proven track record of putting it into practice.Self-starter with demonstrated efficient work methods, analytical & problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.Excellent Interpersonal Skills - able to express ideas and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.Excellent analytical skills, ability to plan, organise and implement concurrent tasks.Good knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, product and process design.Must be able to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and have the ability to understand geometrical dimensioning and tolerancing.Experience in an FDA regulated or regulated industry beneficial.
