Perform Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for a well-established manufacturing company based in Ireland, Co Louth. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team in a permanent, full-time position with an immediate start.

Role Description: As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of machinery and equipment within a manufacturing environment. Your primary focus will be ensuring the machinery's smooth operation and minimizing downtime. The role requires expertise in manufacturing machinery, machinery repair, and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and equipment, ensuring their optimal performance.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues, and perform necessary repairs.

  • Collaborate with the production team to minimize equipment downtime and improve efficiency.

  • Install, dismantle, and relocate machinery as required.

  • Follow health and safety guidelines and ensure compliance with regulations.

  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of machinery and mechanical systems.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar maintenance role within a manufacturing machine factory.

  • Familiarity with electrical systems and the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues.

  • Experience with pneumatics would be advantageous.

  • Possession of a FAS mechanical diploma is essential.

  • A trade certificate in a relevant field will be considered an advantage.

  • Experience with packaging equipment in an FMCG environment is highly desirable.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Health and safety conscious.

  • Fluent in English.

Contract Details:

  • Full-time permanent position.

  • 22/24 euros per hour.

  • Immediate start
