POSITION SUMMARY
This position will lead and manage the Packaging Department in GWWO along side current Packaging Manager. This position will ensure the department operates in a safe, efficient and compliant manner at all times.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the Department is adhering to Health & Safety policy’s and procedures at all times. Perform risk assessments were required in relation to people and process. Ensure that the schedule is achieved each week and justify when not achieved Identify issues, document and close out asap. Analysis opportunities for improvements, document and implement to achieve maximum output while being compliant and safe. Reduce operational and material expenses related to area of responsibility Manage a team of approx. 70+ people through regular feedback and 1:1’s Hiring of new team members for Packaging Ensure batches are released in the required time frame with the “right first time” approach Develop the teams to be trained and competent in across the different lines and operations Develop and maintain working relationship with cross-functional team Minimize generation of deviations by ensuring that all relevant documentation is reflective of current process. To provide on the floor support for troubleshooting processing issues and to lead manufacturing investigations into process deviations. Manage QS activities for CAPA, EC, Periodic review, Deviations etc. Manage the Packaging support team Working along with Maintenance and Packaging Technical team Provide regular reports and information for management Other duties that may be assigned from managementPERSON SPECIFICATION
Excellent communication skills Competent in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel Knowledge and experience in SAP Production Modules Good organizational skills Flexibility Results orientated SME in packaging equipment Previous experience with a supervisor or manager position Compliant Qualifications Minimum of Degree or equivalent third level education or at least 5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing role managing peopleOur Benefits Include:
