The role  

We are looking for an experienced  Technical Product Manager  to join our global team. In this role you will lead a product development team, shaping the future of our Enterprise Foundation Services Product suite. The products include Core services such as SSO, Communication, Data Engineering (Management, Contracts, Analysis, AI and testing), Extensibility, API Security and Centralised Toggling and Settings.

You will define the product strategy, develop new market opportunities, manage the roadmap, and expand the adoption of our products within this sphere. You will use your experience to develop value propositions, value communications, product position narratives, and use Business Intelligence solutions to meet AMCS’s and our customers’ goals.

This role demands experience delivering products in a business-to-business arena, it requires a focus on market analysis, understanding of acquisition, adoption, retention, and revenue enhancing strategies.

You will work with a team of Product Owners, UX, and Developers to prioritize, shape, and deliver the product roadmap. You will define and optimize product dashboards and identify new opportunities to differentiate our product offering.

This is a senior role within the Product Management team and will report to the Head of Product Ops & strategy Management. This can be a remote working role anywhere in Ireland with occasional visits to our HQ in Limerick and occasional international travel. 

  What will you be doing?  

You will be developing product strategy for the product offerings for commercial lines of business as part of the overall AMCS Platform proposition. Your work will entail: Developing a multi-year strategy for our Enterprise Foundation Services product suite.

Product Strategy: Collaborate with peers in both product and marketing to develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with business goals established by leadership team

Product Roadmap: Define and prioritise the product roadmap in collaboration with key stakeholders. Regularly review and adapt it based on changing business or market conditions.

SME: Become a subject matter expert on Extensibility, Master data strategy and Platform Engineering solutions and be an advocate for the solutions to internal stakeholders and customers.

Triage: Work with other product teams and customer success to triage and prioritise dependencies, customer issues and small enhancement requests.

Feature Sign Off: Review and validate enhancements throughout the engineering process to ensure they meet our high standards and address the intended business goals.

Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers to gather and define product requirements. Translate these into technical specifications for our engineering teams.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to deliver high-quality products on schedule.

Global: Work effectively as part of a talented global workforce of product and engineering teams on different continents and in different time zones

Product Adoption: Driving customer adoption through content development and personal interaction, supporting marketing, sales, and customer success teams.

About You  

At least 5 years of experience in product management, building and delivering products, services in a SaaS technology environment. 

Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance technical complexity and business needs

Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases.

Ability to influence and persuade, build consensus, drive, and energize teams.

Are self-directed, enjoy working in a collaborative environment and understand the ambiguity of complex software products.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including customers, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or in an equivalent Master's Degree preferred.

An understanding of UX/UI principles

Nice to Have:

While not mandatory, it would be beneficial if you have:

Experience in a fast-growing startup environment

Experience with programming

Experience with database query languages

Experience in using and designing APIs

Proficiency in design tools such as Figma or Miro
