The team is seeking an Engineering Support Technician to work for 1 year contract with applications engineers to run and maintain various testbeds in the Catalyst building related to automotive products. The person will be working as part of a project team comprised of members from disciplines such as marketing, validation and systems and application engineering to bring a product concept to a released mass production solution. 

This is a hands-on position that requires a strong ability to work with various measure equipment. The ideal candidate will have a general knowledge of PCB manufacturing testing and debugging. Additional familiarity with PCB schematic entry and layout along with the PCB manufacturing process would be advantageous.

Role and Responsibilities:

Engineering Support to assist in;Setup for PCB testing, pack testingSetup and Testing of use case for customers Running conducted test bed for sw revs.  Logistic support for apps Engineering team.

Relevant Skills :

Strong teamwork, inter-personal and communication skills are essential coupled with demonstrated ability to work at a high level of performance both independently and in large multi-discipline development teams spanning multiple time zones.  General working knowledge of PCB debugging. Hand Soldering knowledge. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work to aggressive schedules.  Experience working with bench evaluation equipment, meters, oscilloscopes, analysers. Experience with PCB schematic Entry, Layout and Manufacturing process would be advantageous.
