Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality radiation therapy treatments to patients in accordance with clinical protocols.
- Plan and administer radiation therapy sessions using advanced equipment and techniques.
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior therapists, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
- Collaborate closely with oncologists, physicists, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualised treatment plans.
- Monitor patient's progress and adjust treatment as necessary.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is completed to the highest standards.
- Participate in continuous professional development and contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the department.
- Degree in Radiation Therapy or equivalent qualification.
- Registration with CORU.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and handle complex cases with compassion and professionalism.
- Knowledge of the latest developments and technologies in radiation therapy.
