Duties and Responsibilities:

Technical Excellence in Claims Validation: Drive technical excellence through effective identification and scoping of work.Analyse repair/reinstatement costs and negotiate costs/contracts/schedules.Ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards. Cost Management: Calculate quantities and costs for materials, labour, and timeframes.Prepare tender packages including bills of quantities.Manage risk, value engineer, and cost control measures. Project Feasibility: Conduct feasibility studies to evaluate proposed projects. Claims Handling: Involvement in all aspects of residential and commercial claims.Work with Motor & Liability Claims Teams in managing Third Party Losses.Timely reporting to the Loss Adjusting Manager. Professionalism and Training: Carry out the role in a professional manner, prioritise workloads, and meet deadlines.Display strong interpersonal skills.Insurance qualification (APA/CIP) is desirable but not essential, as appropriate training can be provided.

Skills & Experiences:

Educational Qualification: Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Technical Proficiency: Excellent IT skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is essential. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication.Possess excellent people skills. Analytical Skills: Strong maths, numerical, and data analysis skills. Project Management: Project management capabilities. Teamwork: Teamwork and motivational skills.The ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Industry Knowledge: Understanding of engineering and construction principles.Commercial awareness.Knowledge of market rates/trends. Negotiation and Customer Service: Excellent negotiation skills.Strong customer service skills. Flexibility and Motivation: A high degree of flexibility and self-motivation.
