Are you a corporate travel consultant looking to go client side? If so, this opportunity could be just what you are looking for. We are looking for an in-house travel coordinator to assist our staff with all their corporate travel needs.
Travel Coordinator Responsibilities;
Working directly with the firms TMC to arrange all travel for internal staff and stakeholders
Be able to work independently and solve any issues that might arise quickly and effectively
Promote and teach employees how to use online booking tool
Monitoring travel policy compliance within the organisation.
Invoice review & validation for payment.
Travel PO Management
Tracking of travel expenditure & budgets with relevant department managers
Monthly reporting to SLT of travel KPI’s
Negotiate contracts with travel service providers (airlines, hotels, car rental companies) to secure the best rates and amenities.
Coordinate with Marketing to manage group travel arrangements for Trade Shows and corporate events.
Research and implement sustainable travel options and programs, contributing to the organization’s environmental responsibility goals.
Back up to other regional travel co-ordinators
Support the Procurement and Finance team with Vendor Management and spend analysis (not specific to Travel vendors)
Regional Travel Coordinator Skills Required;
Ideally you will have 3 years’ experience working as a Travel Coordinator or in a Business Travel Consultant role
Have had exposure to a GDS so you are familiar with the booking process
Good proficiency in MS Office is required
Ability to work independently and manage workload without supervision
Demonstrated initiative and flexibility with workload
