We are seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking Food & Beverage Manager:


Your main responsibilities will include:


  • Working closely with managers and their teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Exceed guest expectations and strive to surpass guest expectations.
  • Actively participate in departmental duties, promoting a positive work ethic.
  • Encourage team involvement, initiative, and continuous improvement.
  • To ensure all guests receive a genuine, warm, friendly, courteous welcome on arrival and during their stay from all departmental personnel.
  • To ensure systems are in place to handle all guest queries promptly and efficiently
  • To ensure we always offer guests consistently high standards of quality through training and monitoring
  • To efficiently and effectively control your departmental operations
  • To ensure Hotel standards are achieved at all times
  • Ensure that the highest possible standard of personal hygiene, appearance, body language and conduct of employees is maintained by all employees in department
  • To ensure all accident and incidents are investigated and reported to the relevant people and to assist in providing all relevant backup.
  • To ensure all investigations and appropriate action is taken to ensure incident does not re occur.
  • To ensure all relevant health and safety requirements are in place for areas under control and to ensure they are kept up to date
  • To appraise all managers/supervisors in the F&B department regularly in accordance with agreed appraisal procedure and to ensure all departmental managers/supervisors carry out their employee appraisals
  • To assist in the recruitment and selection of departmental management and staff in accordance with agreed Hotel procedure
  • To ensure all problems are resolved effectively within the departments
  • Ability to convert the knowledge of wines and alcoholic beverages into product sales and service
  • Knowledge of food & beverage promotional techniques
  • Knowledge of pricing strategies
  • Knowledge of purchasing, inventory controls, supplies and equipment


The Ideal candidate:

  • Must have at least 2 years experience in a similar role and property size - 4* Hotel.
  • Must be passionate about the food and beverage departments
  • Must be able to demonstrate leadership presence
  • Strong understanding of food and beverage, coffee, wine, and cocktails.
  • Proven exemplary guest service and sales skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
