Circet Ireland are looking for Power and Infrastructure Planners.

This role is office based in our Letterkenny offices and will involve the planning and design of Electrical/Radio & Wireless/FTTP & P2P/Railway Infrastructure networks across Ireland, UK and internationally. Forming part of the Circet planning team, you will operate a Network Documentation System for producing designs for multiple skills. You will have key involvement in electrical, wireless and telecoms network modelling including planning electrical, civil, fibre routes, producing maps and drawings, and providing CAD/GIS and mapping support to staff members and will be required to assess survey feedback and produce documents required for design with safety

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Initial fundamental design of mixed telecoms and electrical networks using multiple different systems / or Circet design tools. The planning & design of the electrical, fibre, radio & wireless, P2P and digital signage networks and their associated civils designs involving (but is not limited to): Creation of Low-level and High-Level Designs. Creation of electrical schematics, load calculations, wireless sectorisation, cable route management designs, general arrangement drawings, confined space applications for locations of equipment and connections. Completion of cutting, drilling and fixing logs. Completion of Bill of Materials/Bill of Quantities. Completion of Design Risk Assessments. Completion of construction packs Ensure design meets the clients architectural and technical requirements and standards. Status reporting and providing project updates. Data analysis and / or file comparison Supporting Survey team and responding to queries

Knowledge & Skills Requirements:

Experience in electrical/railway/communications design industry Engineering qualifications IT literate with MS packages. Proven track record for delivering results to tight timescales. Good communication skills verbal & written. Positive approach to problem solving. Strong desire to continually improve performance. Ability to work as part of a team and independently. Flexibility to travel throughout Ireland, Northern Ireland and UK. Full clean driving license.
