Responsibilities:

  • Producing general arrangement drawings for both civil and structural infrastructure using CAD software.
  • Modeling civil and structural engineering infrastructure using Autodesk Revit.
  • Developing sections and details from basic general arrangement layouts.
  • Checking and reviewing all project-related drawings before issuing.
  • Attending site inspections and building appraisals with senior technicians and engineers.
  • Liaising with design teams and building contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Implementing quality procedures across projects to maintain high standards.

Requirements:

  • A higher certificate (NFQ Level 6) in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • A working knowledge of AutoCAD, proficiency in Revit is advantageous but not essential.
  • Minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience in a design office.
  • Thorough understanding of construction materials and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently both as part of a team and independently.
  • Capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously with a strong commitment to success.
  • Proven commitment to continuing professional development (CPD).
  • Experience in producing reinforcement drawings and details using CADS RC is advantageous, but training can be provided.

Competitive salary dependent on experience.
