RIGHT Group are a leading Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Company with a significant track record in the Water/Waste Water Sector.

We currently have a requirement for an Electrical Instrumentation Craftsperson In Co. Clare/Galway

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a progressive and fast-growing Engineering Company with a reputation for promoting from within.

The Role:

The selected Candidate work under the direction of a Site Manager or Project Manager, will be a natural problem solver and decision maker capable of working on their own initiative.


Candidates should have a full understanding of Electrical and Control wiring and have experience in servicing and calibrating instrumentation.

Day to day you will be an essential part of the on-site team of technicians responsible for service and repair of equipment within the water treatment industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for completing service and repair works on Electrical and Control equipment at various sites
  • Installation and set up of different types of instrumentation and Controls equipment
  • Installation/Service of Pumps and associated VSD and controls
  • To be able to read and understand working drawings and Schematics
  • Instrument Calibration
  • Understanding of PLC's and automation
  • Ability to work on your own initiative is essential
  • To have up to date knowledge of relevant regulations and H&S guidelines

Requirements: 

  • Trade Qualified in Electrical or E&I
  • 5+ years' experience within the industry
  • Experience in commissioning/servicing instrumentation
  • Experience in Water/Waste Water a distinct advantage
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Safe Pass
  • Manual Handling Certificate
  • A team player with excellent problem- solving skills
  • Flexible to the needs of the business
